  adult life   after she graduated, maeve had thought she had everything she could possibly want in life. but 2010 was a year that ended in only grief for her.  tw: miscarriage, abuse, domestic violence, death  a three year relationship and her life plans quickly went down the drain when she discovered she was pregnant. henry, who had never once raised a hand against her before, became a tyrant. just after discovering the sex of her unborn child, she suffered from a painful miscarriage that had her breaking up with Henry and returning to her family's estate to mourn.instead of immediately seeking work at hogwarts, maeve decided to become a traveling researcher, constantly moving from place to place to teach the young witches and wizards that didn't have access to a proper school.at age 24, she returned to her family estate and applied to hogwarts, becoming a teacher for the study of ancient runes and alchemy when there was enough interest.
